The mission of the Undergraduate Advising Council (UAC) is to recommend and promote best practices for academic advising that are well organized, comprehensive, and consistent across every college at App State. The UAC provides support for faculty advisors, full time/professional advisors, and our entire academic advising community.

- Begin with University College
- A professional advisor is assigned upon entry
- After a major is declared, based on the Academic College you will access Advising and Academic Support
- Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS)
- Professional advisor and Faculty mentor assigned
- College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)
- PSY- Supervised Peer Advising early
- CASSH office, Faculty & Student support
- College of Fine and Applied Arts (CFAA)
- Professional or Faculty advisor assigned
- Hayes School of Music (HSOM)
- Professional or Faculty advisor assigned
- Reich College of Education (RCOE)
- James Center for Student Success
- Professional advisor assigned
- Walker College of Business (WCOB)
- Professional advisor assigned
- Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS)
Special Populations
- A supervised peer or professional advisor is assigned upon entry. All special population students receive advising from their college after they declare their major.
